LA CROSSE, Wis. — Two Loggers competed at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, placing 14th and 18th overall to wrap up their seasons.
How it Happened
Avery Keith got the log rolling in the Men's 400m, finishing his junior season after running a time of 47.66. Placing 15th overall, Keith was just 0.3 seconds out of the last qualifying spot to reach the finals. Despite not advancing, Keith's season was one to remember, as the Junior reached the DIII NCAA Championships for the first time in his career. With one more year left at Puget Sound, he looks to continue to improve and reach greater heights next season.
Kyrstin Wilson, after placing 14th in the Women's 200m dash yesterday, concluded her career placing 18th in the 100m dash. She ran a 12.01, just outside of the qualifying mark for the finals. Wilson concludes her career holding multiple school records for the Loggers, including in both the 100m and 200m this season. She will be forever etched into Logger history as one of the best to ever run at Puget Sound.
This concludes the 2026 Outdoor Track and Field season, as the Loggers will rest, recuperate, and be ready to go in 2027.
