GREENWOOD, Ind. - - Two members of the track & field team earned a spot on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team Tuesday morning.

The CSC recognizes scholar-athletes who are sophomore year standing or higher who carry a. 3.5 GPA, and are also ranked top 50 in their event regionally according to the Track & Field Results Reporting System (TFRRS).

Exercise Science senior Kyrstin Wilson capped off an impressive season, breaking program records and qualifying for nationals in both indoor and outdoor. A top sprinter in her region, she ranks first in the 60m and 100m and third in the 200m.

Economics and Spanish senior Ella Courtnage-Dyke had a strong season competing in both indoor and outdoor track. She ranked in the region in the mile indoors and the 10,000 meters outdoors.

These honors are just the latest recognition for a program that has consistently produced some of the top track and field talent in the region, earning multiple appearances on the national stage at the NCAA Championships across both indoor and outdoor seasons.
