WALLA WALLA, Wash. -- The Loggers conclude their fall season at the ITA West Regional Championships, playing some solid individual tennis.

How it Happened
Jason Rowe was the star of the show for the Loggers, getting off to an incredible start to his senior season. Starting the tournament seeded fourth, Rowe went on a dominant run to the A Main Draw semifinals. He won his Round of 32 Match 6-1, 6-3, and stormed into the quarterfinals with a 7-5, 6-4 win over 10th-ranked Trisan Munteanu. There, he took down yet another ranked opponent, Noah Sutin, 6-3, 3-6, 6-2 to advance to the semifinals. He put up a great fight against Whitman's No.1 seeded Niklas Nordahl Jensen, but ultimately ended his run with a 1-6, 2-6 defeat. 

Gavin Dille also had a solid run in the Singles A Main Draw. He started his match in the round of 64, taking down Linfield's Anthony Wang 6-2, 6-4. He blacked up that win with an impressive 3-6, 6-3, (10-3), win over No. 14-ranked Hanri Luo. This upset win vaulted him into the round of 16, which was a fantastic showing for the sophomore. Dille's run ended against No. 8-seeded Alexander Kinoshita, 2-6, 4-6. 

Yuzheng Yang made his debut as a Logger, and was selected for the Singles A Draw as a freshman. He put up a great fight against Pacific's Dawson Hose, who has a UTR nearly 6 points higher, dropping the match 6(3)-7(7), 3-6. 

Aidan Kresko made it to the round of 16 in the Singles B Main Draw, taking down Willamette's Jimmy Lee 6-2, 6-2. He met his match in the round of 16 against No.1 seeded Matthew Hossach, but still had a good showing overall. Sebastian Silverstein dropped his first match of the B Draw, but came out strong in the B Draw Consolation. He took down Pacific's Ethan Kleinman, 6-2, 1-6, 10-6, to advance to the quarterfinals. 

After dropping their first match in the Doubles main draw, Rowe and Yuzheng advanced to the consolation quarterfinals with an 8-3 win over Jayden Lovingfoss and Jorge Mayorga. Reef Gelder and Dille also made it to the round of 16, dropping their match 8-5. 

Overall, the Loggers performed well, and are in a good position to succeed heading into the Spring season.
