Volleyball Student-Athlete, President of Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (Biology major)
"Being a Puget Sound Logger is a part of our identity on and off the field, court, track, and water. As student-athletes, we learn how to be exceptional leaders, resilient hard-workers, and supportive teammates, values that drive us to be better members of our greater community. Without the tremendous support of our Logger community, we would not be able to do what we love, so thank you for your continued commitment to us!"

Baseball Student-Athlete (Biology / Pre-Med major)
"All of the donations were a huge help to the sports programs here at UPS. Specifically with the baseball team, the donations played a large role in helping us build our indoor hitting facility as well as purchasing other equipment that has been vital to our growth as a program. The donations have really helped our team improve and I want to thank everyone who donated to the sports programs here at Puget Sound, I know they have been put to good use!"
Rick Sassara '87 (Football)
Chair, Athletics Council of the Alumni Committee
"I know that being a small part of Logger athletics through my donation to the Logger Club helps ensure future Logger successes, but I feel it also acknowledges my ongoing friendships with a fantastic group of teammates, coaches, training staff, and administrators that have supported me over all these past years. Those relationships have been a rich reward. Now, I can help continue that legacy with my gift. A gift that will help all 23 of our varsity teams in recruiting future Logger student-athletes, supports coaches, helps fund Logger athletic programs, increases the university's exposure, and celebrates our achievements. These programs prove that whether we were Green and Gold or Maroon and White, we can all be proud of being Loggers."

Volleyball
"Being a part of the women's volleyball program was one of my most meaningful experiences while at the University of Puget Sound. The friendships that I made, the discipline I gained, the skill sets I acquired for being strategic and implementing effective tactics have both enriched my life and helped me to succeed in my career. I'd like to heartily encourage the graduates who have come after me to give and give consistently to the Puget Sound Athletics Department. This is a dynamic and purposeful opportunity for us to help support those who follow in our footsteps."
Aubrey Shelton, BA '05, M.A.T. '06
Men's Basketball Head Coach
"Puget Sound student-athletes make enormous sacrifices so they can play the sports they love without the perks of athletic scholarships. Gifts to the Logger Club alleviates the stress on team budgets to help ensure students can be their absolute best. We have a proud and active alumni network and are grateful for their support and honored to represent Puget Sound's present and its past. Once A Logger, Always A Logger!"
Kim Calkins
Women's Soccer Head Coach, 2021
"The opportunity for the Logger Club to directly benefit student-athletes and the sports programs for the overall experience at University of Puget Sound is immeasurable. The students are well accustomed to holding high standards for themselves in everything they do from the classroom to their sport. Being able to provide them with high standards of equipment, facility, and player-experience is certainly merited. They truly deserve our best as coaches and as an Athletic Department."
