TACOMA, Washington – Puget Sound crew has consecutive regattas scheduled for this weekend, starting with the Covered Bridge Regatta Saturday (April 6), followed by the Meyer/Lamberth Cup Sunday (April 7).
The Oregon Association of Rowers hosts the Collegiate Covered Bridge Regatta on Dexter Lake in Lowell, Oregon. Competition includes men's and women's boats from Puget Sound, Humboldt State, Oregon State, Pacific Lutheran, Washington State, Seattle University, Western Washington, Chico State, and Lewis & Clark.
Puget Sound and Pacific Lutheran go head-to-head on American Lake for the Meyer/Lamberth Cup. In 2018, Puget Sound swept all races in the Meyer/Lamberth Cup.
Puget Sound crew earned its first Northwest Conference honor of the spring season when the Loggers' women's varsity-eight received NWC Crew of the Week, the NWC recently announced. Racing against boats from NCAA D-I schools in the Husky Open (March 30), Puget Sound crossed the finish line in 6:57.246.

The Northwest Conference Championship is April 20 in Vancouver, Washington. The WIRA Championships are scheduled for April 27-28 in Gold River, California.
