Three Logger boats qualify for grand finals at WIRA

SACRAMENTO, California – Puget Sound's women's varsity-eight opened the Western Intercollegiate Rowing Association (WIRA) Championships by placing third in its race with a time of 7:03.512.


The WV8 will compete in the petite final Sunday morning.

The W2V8 also placed third in its race Saturday, crossing the finish line in 7:35.321. That Logger boat will race in a grand final Sunday.

The Logger men's 2x finished its race in second place, timing in at 8:06.72. Puget Sound qualified for the grand final late Sunday morning.  The WN4 also reached a grand final race by winning on Saturday with a time of 8:57.656.
