Puget Sound's WV8 gets second place in petite final

SACRAMENTO, California – The Western Intercollegiate Rowing Association (WIRA) Championships finished Sunday, with three boats competing in grand finals.


The women's second varsity-eight finished sixth in the grand final, timing at 7:14.032. The men's 2x finished with a time of 7:47.357 in the grand final, and the women's novice-four placed seventh in its grand final, timing in at 8:36.076.

The Loggers' women's varsity claimed second place in the petite final with a time of 7:01.932.
