WALLA WALLA, Washington – The Puget Sound golf teams finished their 2018 fall season in the Whitman Invitational at Veterans Memorial Golf Course Sunday. The Logger men placed fourth overall, and the women placed sixth.
Cole Albert was the top golfer for the Puget Sound. He tied for sixth overall by shooting one under par (143) through the two rounds. Colin Rajczak tied for ninth (+2), and Reynn Hoshide finished 13th (+3).
Pacific Lutheran won the men's competition by shooting 12 under par. Puget Sound shot 31 over par as a team.
In women's competition, the Loggers shot 18 over par as a team. George Fox placed first as a team by shooting 75 over par.
Emmi Modahl was the top golfer for the Logger women. She placed 27th by shooting +30 through two rounds.
