McMINNVILLE, Oregon – Four different Loggers scored as the Puget Sound men's soccer team earned its first Northwest Conference win of the season with a 4-1 triumph over Linfield on Sunday afternoon.
The Wildcats (2-4, 0-2) grabbed a 1-0 lead in the first minute of play, but the Loggers' (3-2, 1-1 NWC) defense prevented Linfield from putting another shot on goal through the next 89 minutes.
Luke Murdock provided the equalizer in the 29th minute, when he tapped in a cross from Ezra Kraus. The game-winning goal was provided by Vincent Von Luehrte just two minutes into the second half. His second goal this weekend headed home off a pass from Benjamin Whitham.
