TYLER, Texas – Texas left the Puget Sound men's soccer team feeling blue, as the Loggers lost their second consecutive one-goal game in the Lone Star State.
Texas-Tyler beat the Loggers, 1-0, Saturday afternoon. The game-winning goal was scored in the 71st minute.
The Loggers totaled just three shots in the game, and only one in the second half. Texas-Tyler attempted eight shots, three of which were on goal.
Texas-Tyler also finished with a strong advantage in corner kicks, 8-2.
Puget Sound makes its home debut against Brooklyn Friday, Sept. 7, at 5 p.m.
