TACOMA, Washington - The Puget Sound men's soccer team concluded the 2019 season with a 2-0 loss against Pacific Lutheran on Saturday afternoon at East Field.
Prior to the game, Puget Sound celebrated its seniors and loved ones: Skye Guegan, Dane Schatz, Ian Hamel, Jack Umbaugh, and Luke Murdock.
The Loggers (9-7-3, 6-7-1 NWC) put six of 13 shots on goal. But the Lutes' (14-4-2, 11-1-2 NWC) goalkeeper was solid in the box.
In the 15th minute, Puget Sound had back-to-back opportunities to tie the game. Marko Babiak uncorked a shot from the top of the 18-yard box that was blocked, and Luke Murdock slotted a header, but the goalkeeper was there for the save.
