WALLA WALLA, Washington – Daniel Deuel won his No. 2 singles match, but the Puget Sound tennis team lost at No. 15 Whitman, 8-1, on Friday evening.
Deuel beat Chase Friedman, 6-0, in the first set, and the Friedman retired in the second set. Chet Selis made a push at No. 6 singles, but he narrowly lost the first set, 7-6.
Puget Sound concludes its 2015 season at Whitworth on Saturday, April 18, starting at 10 a.m.
