Men's and women's tennis teams on the road to take on SCIAC teams

TACOMA, Washington – The Puget Sound men's and women's tennis teams are on the road to take on a trio of Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference opponents, March 21-23.

The action begins with matches at Cal Lutheran, Thursday. The Kingsmen are 4-5 this season, while the Regals are 6-1.

Friday, March 22, the Loggers are at Occidental. The Tiger women have a 5-7 record so far, and the men's team is 3-5. 

The trip concludes at Whittier Saturday, March 23. The Poet men are 3-7, and the women's team is 2-5.

The Puget Sound women enter the trip with three consecutive wins. The streak includes wins over George Fox, Willamette, and Pacific. The Logger men are still competing for their first win of the season.

Nicole Bouche and Lisa Owen were named the Loggers of the Week, and Owen the NWC Women's Tennis Student-Athlete of the Week, following a dominant weekend against Lewis & Clark and George Fox (March 9-10). Between singles and doubles matches, Owen has not lost to a NCAA D-III opponent, and Bouche has lost just one NCAA D-III match.
