TACOMA, Washington – After opening the 2019 season with 13 consecutive road games, the Puget Sound softball team hosts Pacific for a four-game Northwest Conference series, March 9-10.

Noelle Kerr is hitting a team-best .429, followed by Abbi Wong at .406, and Kelsie Sullivan at .361. Puget Sound freshman Kelsie Sullivan is tied with classmate Abbi Wong for the team lead in runs scored (7). Sullivan also leads the pitching staff with a 4.79 ERA.
The approach
Four Loggers have just as many – or more – walks than strikeouts. Maddie Colombo and Kaitlyn Webster have both drawn four walks to their three strikeouts. Noelle Kerr and Abbi Wong have both walked three times and struckout three times.

Maddie Colombo and Abbi Wong are tied for the team lead in extra-base hits with five, apiece. Colombo has four doubles and a triple, while Wong has four doubles and a home run.

The Boxers began their NWC season with a four—game sweep over Willamette. Montana Vaught has a team-high four home runs this season, and Hailey Miller leads the team in RBI with 13. In the circle, the Boxers' 3.28 ERA ranks third in the NWC.
