Reimers and Olson win events, Loggers fall to Lutes

PARKLAND, Washington – The Puget Sound men's and women's swim teams fell to Pacific Lutheran on Saturday afternoon. The men fell, 168-74, while the women lost, 197-46.  

Results

For the Logger men, the 200-yard medley relay, made of David Olson, Ian Conery, Aaron Zevenbergen, and Evan Hamamoto, came in second. Dylan Reimers won the 200-yard freestyle in 1:48.57, the 500-yard freestyle in 4:56.46, while Olson won the 100-yard backstroke (54.54), and was second in the 200-yard backstroke. Zevenbergen placed second in the 200-yard butterfly and Conery was second in the 200-yard breaststroke.

On the women's side, Aza Verhoeven was second in the 100-yard backstroke and the 200-yard backstroke. Kristian Kotchik was second in the 200-yard butterfly.

Up next for the Loggers is the Northwest Conference Championships. The meet will be Friday, February 10 through Sunday, February 12.
