Kolb, Callahan lead Loggers to wins at Pacific

FOREST GROVE, Oregon – The Puget Sound men's and women's swim teams both earned impressive wins at Northwest Conference foe Pacific Friday night. The Logger women beat the Boxers, 127-62, while the men won, 108-44.


Brett Kolb won three individual events for the Logger men. He was first in the 200-yard IM (2:03.28), first in the 500-freestyle (4:55.75), and first in the 200-backstroke (2:06.35).

Dylan Reimers picked up nine points for the Logger men by winning 1,000-freestyle with a time of 10:11.86. Ethan Done won the 200-freestyle by timing in at 1:56.34, and Eli Champagne won the 50-freestyle with a time of 22.47. Done was also victorious in the 100-freestyle (50.01).

In women's races, Kelli Callahan won the 200-backstrone (2:13.16), 200-freestyle (1:59.30), and the 200-butterfly (2:15.06).

Calista Skog won the 200-IM (2:17.88), and Kai Haven was victorious in the 100-freestyle (59.17). Austin Stiver also picked up nine points by winning the 50-freestyle (27.25).

Puget Sound returns to Wallace Pool to host the Logger Invitational, Nov. 30 – Dec. 2.
