Mark Amberson

The 2012-2013 season is Mark Amberson's second as Assistant Swim Coach at Puget Sound.  Mark's primary responsibilities are with the Distance group and 200 fly specialists.  A native Washingtonian, Mark has been involved in competitive swimming as competitor and coach for many years.  He was Team Captain of Tacoma Swim Club, and swam at the University of Washington.  While at UW, he was part of the record-setting 800 freestyle relay, and qualified for the NCAA Championships 1981-1983.  He earned his Bachelor's degree in Economics from UW, and his MBA from Pacific Lutheran University.
