PULLMAN, Washington – Several Puget Sound men's and women's indoor track & field student-athletes earned top-10 finishes during the Cougar Indoor Meet, which concluded Saturday.
Emery Bradlina finished eighth overall in the women's 800-m run, timing in at 2:24.03. She placed ahead of runners for NCAA D-I and D-II schools such as Seattle University, Western Washington, and Central Washington. Rachael Metzler was 15th in the same event by crossing the finish line in 2:31.15.
Ryan Sutherland was ninth in the men's 60-m dash with a time of 7.29, and he was eighth in the 200-m dash by crossing the finish line in 23.89.
Jack Monaghan was eighth in the 400-m dash, timing in at 53.51, and Isaac Fournier was 10th (53.59). Fournier was impressive in the 800-m run with a time of 2:00.67, which was good for fourth out of 32 runners.
Colin Monaghan continues to compete in the 3,000-m run. He timed in at 8:58.26, which was good four sixth out of 31 runners.
Sydney Denham tied for 10th overall in the women's high jump, clearing 1.50-meters.
The Loggers are next expected to split between the Husky Classic and Boise State Challenge, Feb. 9.
