Bradlina, Johnson impress in Parkland

PARKLAND, Washington – Emery Bradlina earned a top finish and 2018 All-NWC honoree AJ Johnson made his first appearance in the 2019 outdoor track & field season when Puget Sound competed in the Pacific Lutheran Invitational Saturday afternoon.  


Bradlina won the women's 1500-m run by crossing the finish line in 4:43.22. Rachael Metzler was fourth in the women's 800-m run with a time of 2:26.46.

Johnson, a reigning All-NWC honoree in the men's triple jump, placed second with a distance of 13.38-m. Naloni Haskins finished fifth in the women's long jump by clearing 4.58-m.

Jack Monaghan was second in the men's 800-m run by timing in at 1:56.81. Colin Monaghan took fourth in the 5,000-m run by timing in at 15:22.22.  

Overall, the Logger women placed sixth 21.50 points, and the men were also sixth with 44 points.
