Meet the Metz
During last week's Pacific Invitational (March 30), Rachael Metzler won the women's 800-m run (2:26.53), and she was third in the women's 1,500-m run by timing in at 4:56.42.
Three Logger men finished consecutively in the 1,500-m run during the Pacifc Invitational. Colin Monaghan was third overall with a time of 4:08.44, followed by Isaac Fournier (4:08.45) and Cody DeWitt (4:08.90). Jack Monaghan was third in the men's 400-m dash by crossing the finish line in 51.43.
Several Loggers rank top five in the NWC in numerous events. Jack Monaghan has second-best time in the men's 800-m run (1:54.92), while Isaac Fournier ranks fourth in the event (1:55.37). Monaghan is also fourth in the men's 1,500-m run (4:02.69). Emery Bradlina has the NWC's top time in the women's 1,500-m run (4:43.10), and she ranks second in the 800-m run (2:19.55). Colin Monaghan is third in the 5,000-m run (15:00.48), and second in the 10,000-m run (31:37.13). AJ Johnson currently ranks No. 1 in the men's triple jump with a distance of 13.38-m.
Puget Sound next competes in the St. Martin's Invitational (April 13), and the NWC Championships are set for April 26-27 in Parkland, Washington.
