Pioneering a streak

The Loggers have won eight consecutive games against Lewis & Clark, including the first round of last year's NWC Tournament in Memorial Fieldhouse.

Home sweet home

The Loggers played nine consecutive road games before hosting Pacific Lutheran on Tuesday, Jan. 16. The Loggers beat the Lutes, 65-54, thanks in large part to Jamie Lange's 10th double-double of the season. She finished with 16 points and 17 rebounds, while both Cassidy Daugherty and Elizabeth Prewitt netted 13 points.

Top of her game

Jamie Lange ranks among the Northwest Conference leaders in several statistics. She is first in rebounds per game (12.7), second in points per game (16.9), fifth in field-goal percentage (53.8 percent), and second in blocks per game (1.8).

Class of the glass

Puget Sound continues to lead in the NWC in rebounding, as the Loggers average 44.6 rebounds per game. Whitman has the next closest mark with 41.3 rebounds per game. Meghan Hamel ranks 10th in the NWC with 6.0 rebounds per game.

Record-setting game

Both Cassidy Daugherty and Jamie Lange broke into the Puget Sound record books during the Loggers' game at Pacific, Jan. 12. Daugherty's eight 3-pointers tied Annie Pettigrew's program record set during the 1989-90 season against Whitman. Meanwhile, Lange shot 10-for-10 from the three-throw line, becoming the fourth Logger in program history to shoot 100 percent from the line in a game with a minimum of 10 attempts. Kelsey McKinninis, Claire Ely, and Alexis Noren (2x) are the other Loggers to achieve the feat.

Scouting Lewis & Clark (9-6, 4-2 NWC)

The Pioneers enter Friday's contest with three wins in their last four games. Lewis & Clark beat Whitworth, Linfield, and Pacific Lutheran during the stretch, but lost to Whitman. Four Pioneers average double-digits in scoring: Miyah Leith (14.4), Lauren Wood (11.2), Janessa Willie (10.4), Alyx Crager (10.3). Wood ranks third in the conference for rebounds per game (10.5), and Crager's 1.9 made 3-pointers per game ranks fourth.
