Kayla Reeves joined the Puget Sound women's basketball coaching staff in August 2017. Reeves spent the last two seasons on the Gonzaga women’s basketball coaching staff as the graduate assistant. At Gonzaga, she assisted in player development workouts and practices, scouting, and game statistics. She also was involved in recruiting and designing mail outs for potential recruits, as well has helping organize and market Gonzaga’s annual summer camps. Reeves also served as the Zags' interim video coordinator.
During her years as a student-athlete, Reeves was a part of the 2010-11 NWC Co-Championship Lewis & Clark women’s basketball team before transferring to Sierra College. From there, Reeves spent two years playing at the Junior College level earning All- Conference and a BIG 8 title. After her time at Sierra, she joined the University of Nevada-Reno women’s nasketball team as a shooting guard, earning Mountain West All-Academic for her final two seasons.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication with a minor in Psychology from the University of Nevada, Reno (2015) and her Master’s in Sport and Athletic Administration from Gonzaga (2017).
