Brandon Walcott-Ayers

Brandon Walcott-Ayers enters his fourth year as the Loggers' Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Medicine and Student-Athlete Wellness in 2026-27. 

In his role, Walcott-Ayers oversees the daily operations of the Logger Sports Medicine Department and serves as the university's NCAA Athletics Healthcare Administrator. His responsibilities include coordinating both on and off campus care for all athletes, as well as managing athletic insurance processing. 

Walcott-Ayers brings a wealth of collegiate and professional experience to Tacoma. Prior to joining Puget Sound, he spent two stints at Lewis & Clark College, serving from 2016-2017 and again from 2020-2023. His career also includes stops at Western Oregon University (2018-2020) and in Major League Baseball with the San Francisco Giants organization (2017). 

A 2012 graduate of the University of Oregon with a bachelor's degree, Walcott-Ayers went on to earn a Master's in Athletic Training from Pacific Unviersity in 2016. He holds professional credentials as a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) and Licensed Athletic Trainer (LAT). 

Brandon lives in Tacoma with his wife, Akari, and their dog, Sora. The couple is expecting their first child in June.
