Caylie Shiramizu joined the University of Puget Sound sports medicine staff in August 2024. No stranger to the Northwest Conference, Shiramizu brings extensive athletic training experience across multiple colleges, clinical and secondary school settings.Â
Prior to arriving at Puget Sound, Caylie spent nearly three years as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Pacific Lutheran University (2021-2024). Her clinical background also includes times as a Certified Athletic Trainer with Olympic Sports & Spine, as well as coaching experience at F45 Training.Â
Caylie earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from PLU in 2019, where she also got her start in sports medicine as a part-time athletic training room aid. She went on to complete her Master of Science in Athletic Training from Pacific University in 2021.Â
She holds a Personal Trainer Certification through the International Sports Sciences Association.Â
