University of Puget Sound

Nate Rasmussen is entering his first season as an assistantcoach at Puget Sound. Rasmussen joined the Logger baseball staffthis summer after completing a four-year playing career at PacificUniversity. Coach Rasmussen primarily serves as the Hitting Coach.He will also work with the catchers, participate in recruiting, andon summer team placement. 

As a player, Coach Rasmussen was a team MVP and an all-leagueplayer at Bingham HS in Sandy, Utah. He went on to PacificUniversity in Forest Grove, Oregon where he was a team captain and3 time All-Northwest Conference performer.

Coach Rasmussen graduated from Pacific Unversity in 2012 with adegree in Business Marketing. In addition to coaching at PugetSound, he also serves as an assistant coach for the elite Boys ofSummer 18U club team. Rasmussen currently resides in Tacoma.
