Robin Hamilton

Robin Hamilton has extensive administrative and coaching experience and has served Puget Sound in a variety of capacities during her career.

Hamilton serves as the Associate Director of Athletics, Physical Education and Athletics and Senior Woman Administrator with oversight for event management, student-athlete welfare, athletic communications and NCAA Compliance.  Hamilton is the director of the Little Logger All-Sport Camp that has emerged as one of the top youth camps in Washington State.  In addition, she is the lead for the Logger Open Golf Tournament which is a major fundraising event for Puget Sound athletics.

Hamilton has national and international event and media experience working for the Atlanta and Sydney Olympic Organizing Committees. In addition, Hamilton has worked three NCAA DI Women’s Final Four Championships, and two Men’s DI Basketball Championships. She served as the event manager for the Goodwill Games in Seattle in the sports of gymnastics, ice hockey and figure skating.

In addition, Hamilton previously served a three-year term as the Chair of the NCAA III Women’s Basketball Committee. She is currently the Northwest Conference Athletic Director liaison for women’s lacrosse.

A former head softball coach at Puget Sound her teams amassed a 455-303-5 record and she is still the all-time leader among Logger coaches for games won in a career.  Her teams twice advanced to the NAIA National Championship game and she coached dozens of All-League, All-Regional and All-America student-athletes.

A native of Arvada, Colorado, she is a graduate of Idaho State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism.  A former NCAA DI student-athlete herself, Hamilton played volleyball and softball for the Bengals.
