Tristan Coppinger (MS, LAT, ATC) joined the Puget Sound Sports Medicine staff in June 2022. In his role as an Athletic Trainer, he provides comprehensive healthcare and coverage for the Loggers' Men's Soccer, Men's Basketball, Men's and Women's Tennis, and Men's and Women's Crew programs.
Before arriving to Puget Sound, Coppinger built a diverse professional background across both collegiate and professional sports. He spent two years as an intern athletic trainer at Washington State University and also spent a year working within the sports medicine department for the Houston Astros.Â
Coppinger received his bachelor's degree from Western Washington University, earning a degree in Kinesiology. He later went on to obtain his Master's degree in Athletic Training from Northern Arizona University.Â
A Washington native, Coppinger resides in Puyallup with his wife, Allie. Together, they have two cats, Basil and Lucy and a dog, Tucker.Â
