Randy Hanson

Randy Hanson returns for his 21st season as Head Coach of the women's soccer team. Hanson has led the Loggers to 15 Northwest Conference titles, including the last 14 in a row. He is a 12-time Northwest Conference Coach of the Year.

Hanson led the Loggers to four NWC titles in five years from 2000-05 before taking a year off to work as Director of Soccer Training of Manchester United Soccer Schools at Starfire Sports. He returned to Puget Sound in 2006 and has led the Loggers to the NWC title in every year since his return.

Hanson has coached 11 All-Americans, including the National Player of the Year in 2005, 73 All-Region selections, and 72 All-NWC First Team selections. He has also mentored 17 NWC Players of the Year.

The Loggers have also made a couple of runs in the NCAA Tournament under Hanson, compiling a record of 16-10-6 in the tournament. Their best finish came in 2004 when the Loggers went all the way to the national championship game but eventually fell after penalty kicks.

Hanson has posted a career record of 303-74-36 in 20 seasons for the Loggers. He won his 300th game during the 2015 season in a 3-0 win over Whitman.

Hanson lives in Puyallup with his wife and son.
