Box Score TACOMA, Wash. – The Puget Sound women's soccer used a second half goal from Christine Isabella to tie 1-1 with Whitman on Saturday. The tie saw the Loggers scoreless streak and six-match win streak snapped.
Whitman snapped the Loggers (9-2-1, 7-1-1 NWC) scoreless streak of over 600 minutes with a goal just 10 seconds before halftime. Amy Hasson scored in the 45th minutes off of a Missionaries free kick.
In the 74th minute, the Isabella scored an unassisted goal for the equalizer and both teams were held off the scoreboard the rest of the way.
Kara Merfeld and Emily Davis posted identical stats as both had saves and one goal against in 110 minutes. Whitman's goal was the first scored on Merfled this year.
The Loggers host Whitworth tomorrow at noon on East Field.
