Box Score TACOMA, Washington – The No. 22 Puget Sound women's basketball team remained undefeated when it beat Evergreen State, 73-44, on Wednesday night in Memorial Fieldhouse.
Alexis Noren led all players with 13 points, and Jamie Lange posted season highs with 12 points and seven rebounds.
The Loggers' (7-0) defense held the Geoducks (1-6) to just 30.8 percent shooting from the floor, and forced Evergreen State into 22 turnovers. Puget Sound also outrebounded the Geoducks, 46-36.
The Loggers' up-tempo offense resulted in 11 assists on 14 made baskets in the first half, as Puget Sound held a 33-13 lead through the first 20 minutes. In all, the Loggers finished with 20 assists on 29 baskets.
The Loggers return to action in the Pacific Lutheran Tournament, when Puget Sound tips off against Trinity (Tex.) on Saturday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m.
