Box Score TACOMA, Washington - Hannah Stinson tallied a career-high 18 kills as the Puget Sound volleyball team powered past Linfield, 3-1 (25-16, 25-18, 19-25, 25-17), in Memorial Fieldhouse on Saturday evening. The Loggers have won five consecutive games, including two against Northwest Conference opponents this weekend.
Puget Sound (6-3, 2-0) attacked at a whopping .331 clip, marking the Loggers' most efficient offensive game since attacking with a .371 percentage against Linfield on Sept. 20, 2013.
Kristen Lane's 13 kills and 13 digs mark her third consecutive double-double and fourth overall this season. Moira McVicar led all players with 27 assists, and Kayla Thaller followed closely with 24.
Rachael Garrison had a game-high 15 digs.
The Loggers conclude the weekend standing in first place in the NWC. Puget Sound takes on crosstown rival Pacific Lutheran on the road for a midweek clash on Wednesday, Sept. 21, at 7 p.m.
