Box Score PORTLAND, Oregon – Claire Fitzgerald led all players with 17 points as the Puget Sound women's basketball team beat Multnomah Bible, 69-49, Friday night.
Fitzgerald shot 5-for-10 from the floor and added seven rebounds for the Loggers (2-1). Mara Henderson netted 11 points for the second consecutive game for Puget Sound.
The Loggers dominated the glass, 48-28. Meghan Hamel finished with eight boards, and Jamie Lange pulled down seven rebounds in her first game of the season.
Multnomah (0-8) held a 21-17 lead after the first quarter, but the Loggers rallied to take a 35-27 lead at halftime. Puget Sound dominated the third quarter, 21-9, as Fitzgerald scored seven points in the period.
The Loggers play at Warner Pacific on Saturday, Nov. 25, at 4 p.m.
