TACOMA, Washington – The Puget Sound volleyball team served up one of its most complete matches of the season during a 3-0 (31-29, 25-19, 25-16) victory over Pacific Saturday night. 

The victory pushes the Loggers' winning streak to five matches as they remain tied with Pacific Lutheran and Whitworth for first place in the Northwest Conference.

Puget Sound (10-6, 7-1 NWC) delivered a season-high 15 service aces during the win. It's the program's most aces in a single match since the Loggers had 15 against Willamette during the 2013 season.

Alli Reviglio led Puget Sound with five aces, including three consecutive aces in the middle of the second set. Sarah Blumenfeld and Sydney Voss each contributed three aces.

Although Pacific (11-6, 5-3 NWC) attacked a respectable .202 clip, the Loggers' continued to dominate at the net. Puget Sound totaled nine blocks against the Boxers, led by 3.5 blocks from Melanie Siacotos.

The first set provided the most exciting action of the evening. Pacific held a 25-24 lead, but a kill from Sadie Alloway kept the Loggers alive. Two more instances Pacific reached set-point, but both times Siacotos provided the tying kill. A kill by Maddie Lage followed by a Boxer error allowed Puget Sound to win the marathon first set.

The Loggers next play at Linfield, Oct. 12, for a 7 p.m. start.
