Daugherty's 18 points leads Loggers to win in Hawaii

HONOLULU, Hawaii – In her first game back from an injury, Cassidy Daugherty drained a team-high 18 points to lead the Puget Sound women's basketball team to an 87-65 win over Whittier as part of the Street Shine Invitational Wednesday afternoon.

Puget Sound increased its win streak to four games. 

Daugherty tallied 18 points for the Loggers (7-2), including 12 points on four 3-pointers. Jamie Lange scored 17 points for the Loggers, Elizabeth Prewitt netted 13, and Mara Henderson finished with nine.

Puget Sound held a 51-27 lead at halftime. More information and statistics to follow.

The Loggers conclude the Street Shine Invitational Thursday, Dec. 20, with a 3 p.m. (PT) game against Chapman.
