Daugherty continues hot shooting, Loggers beat Chapman in Hawaii

HONOLULU, Hawaii – Six Loggers scored in double figures as the Puget Sound women's basketball team finished the Street Shine Invitational with a 96-87 win over Chapman Friday afternoon. Puget Sound increased its win streak to five games. 

Cassidy Daugherty led the way once again led the way for the Loggers (8-2), netting 20 points. She shot 6-for-7 from 3-point range against the Panthers. Elizabeth Prewitt notched her first double-double of the season with 16 points and 10 rebounds for Puget Sound, while RaeAnn Allen matched her season-high with 15 points.

Jamie Lange, Gia Sorn, and Georgia Lavinder each scored 12 points. Lange and Sorn both recorded seven rebounds.

The Loggers resume their Northwest Conference schedule at Pacific, January 4.
