Loggers stifled by Willamette in 2-0 road loss

Box Score

SALEM, Oregon – The Puget Sound women's soccer team was held scoreless during a 2-0 Northwest Conference loss at Willamette Saturday afternoon.

The Bearcats have been a thorn in the Loggers' side in recent years. Puget Sound has totaled just two goals in its past five games against Willamette.

The Bearcats struck for their first score in the 18th minute, and added an insurance goal five minutes into the second half. Willamette put eight shots on goal, whereas the Loggers finished with two.

Puget Sound aims to bounce back at Lewis & Clark Sunday, Sept. 23, at 12 p.m.
