Loggers score three first-half goals in 4-0 win at Whitman

WALLA WALLA, Washington – Kylee Roath scored twice to lead the Puget Sound women's soccer team to a 4-0 win at Whitman Saturday afternoon. The four goals are a season-high for the Loggers.

Roath gave the Loggers (9-3-1, 7-1-1 NWC) a 1-0 edge just 10 minutes into the game. It was only another 15 minutes when Roath scored her second goal to give the Loggers a 2-0 cushion over Whitman (1-11-0, 1-8-0 NWC).

CeAnn Romanaggi assisted on both of Roath's goals.

Gabbie Berg netted her fifth goal on the season in the in the 32nd minute. She is the Loggers' second-leading scorer behind Roath's six goals this season.

Quincy Bento scored Puget Sound's fourth and final goal in the 87th minute.

Puget Sound remains on the road to take on Whitworth Sunday, Oct. 20, at 12 p.m.
