Puget Sound downed by Whitman in three sets

WALLA WALLA, Washington – The Puget Sound volleyball team lost in three sets (25-16, 25-22, 25-14) at Whitman Friday night.

The Loggers (11-10, 6-3 NWC) struggled to find any sort of rhythm in their attack. Puget Sound did not hit above .000 in either of the three sets. Whitman (2-13, 1-8 NWC), on the other hand, attacked at a .210 clip.

Melanie Siacotos had a team-high eight kills for the Loggers. Sarah Blumenfeld finished with 15 assists, and Jordan Holman had 12 digs.

Puget Sound looks to regroup at Whitworth Saturday, Oct. 18, at 6 p.m.
