Blumenfeld totals 55 assists to lead Loggers to 3-1 win over Pioneers

TACOMA, Washington – Unphased by dropping the first set, the Puget Sound volleyball team topped Lewis & Clark, 3-1 (18-25, 25-19, 25-18, 25-18), in Memorial Fieldhouse Saturday night.

Sarah Blumenfeld totaled a career-high 55 assists for Puget Sound (13-11, 8-4), which played a big part in the Loggers hitting a season-best .242.

Logger freshman Tallie Davison continued her dominant start to her collegiate career by putting away 18 kills in the win. Through her first three contests with Puget Sound, Davison has games of 17, 22, and 18 kills.

Melanie Siacotos came up with 12 kills, marking her second-best total of the season. Katherine Carley matched her season-high with 11 kills.

The Loggers look to maintain momentum at home when they host Pacific Friday, Nov. 1, at 7 p.m.
