Goals by Webster Schultz, Cheatham lift Loggers over Pioneers

PORTLAND, Oregon - The Puget Sound women's soccer team extended its unbeaten streak to six games with a 2-0 victory at Lewis & Clark on Saturday afternoon. 

With the victory, the Loggers improve to 6-2-1 overall and 4-0-1 in conference. The Pioneers fall to 3-6-1 overall and 2-4-0 in NWC. 

In the 50th minute, Radhika Webster Schultz put the Loggers on the board with her second goal of the season. The freshman struck the ball over the diving keeper off a long pass from Kalina Cordero

With two minutes left in the game, Genevieve Cheatham quick-dribbled a pass from Gabbie Berg, defeating the defender and finding the back-right corner of the net. 

Chaylea Tome had three saves in the contest for Puget Sound

The Loggers remain on the road at George Fox, Sunday, Oct. 6, at 12 p.m.
