TACOMA, Washington – The Puget Sound women's basketball team dominated every facet of the game during an 82-62 win over Linfield in Memorial Fieldhouse Friday night.

Four Loggers (15-4, 8-3 NWC) scored in double figures, led by Jamie Lange's 18 points. She finished one rebound shy of a double-double. Elizabeth Prewitt scored 14 points in the winning effort, and RaeAnn Allen added 10.

Mara Henderson was perfect shooting the ball against the Wildcats (10-10, 5-5 NWC). She was 5-for-5 from the floor, including 3-for-3 from 3-point range, for 13 points.

Puget Sound dominated on the glass, 40-25. The Loggers' defense was suffocating, and limited Linfield to just 40.0 percent shooting from the floor. After holding a 20-10 lead through the game's first 10 minutes, the Loggers held the Wildcats scoreless through the first 4:30 of the second quarter and Puget Sound's lead grew to 31-10.

The Loggers' win over Linfield marks the team's third victory by 20+ points this season.

Puget Sound hosts Pacific Saturday, Feb. 2, at 4 p.m.
