Henderson nets career-high 19 to lead Loggers to victory

PORTLAND, Oregon – Mara Henderson scored a career-high 19 points to lead the Puget Sound women's basketball team to an 83-56 win at Lewis & Clark Friday night.

Henderson shot 7-for-11 from the floor for the Loggers (14-4, 10-3), including 3-for-5 from 3-point range. The junior has now netted double figures in scoring for the first time in her collegiate career. 

During that three-game stretch, Henderson is shooting 16-for-24  from the floor, and 10-for-18 from beyond the arc.

Kirstin Hafeman also came away with a career-high in scoring, pouring in 16 points Friday night. 

Jamie Lange needed just 16 minutes on the floor against Lewis & Clark (2-20, 1-12 NWC) to record her 10th double-double of the season. She finished the game with 16 points and 11 rebounds.

The Loggers dominated on the glass, 45-20.

Puget Sound takes on Willamette Saturday, Feb. 9, at 4 p.m.
