Box Score

McMINNVILLE, Oregon – A pair of second-half goals lifted the Puget Sound women's soccer team to a 2-1 victory at Linfield Saturday afternoon, and the Loggers extended their winning streak to four games.

Linfield (2-5, 1-2 NWC) netted its only goal in the eighth minute, and the Wildcats carried that 1-0 lead into halftime.

The Loggers (5-2, 3-0 NWC) broke through in the 48th minute when Ava Cholakian scored her third goal of the season with a shot from the middle of the box.

Nearly 20 minutes later, Kylee Roath scored the game-winning goal. Roath's third goal of the fall was headed in off a corner kick from CeAnn Romanaggi.

Chaylea Tome made four saves in the net, three of which came in the second half.

Puget Sound stays on the road to wake on Willamette Sunday, Sept. 29, at 12 p.m.
