Box Score PORTLAND, Oregon – Jamie Lange scored a season-high 23 points, but the Puget Sound women's basketball team lost at Lewis & Clark, 64-60, Saturday evening.
Lange shot 10-for-15 from the floor and 3-for-4 from the foul line. However, foul trouble limited her time on the court in the second half. She finished the game with four fouls.
RaeAnn Allen also scored in double figures with 12 points for the Loggers (7-8, 1-5 NWC). It marks her fifth game this season scoring 10 points or more.
Puget Sound, as it has for most of the season, started off strong and held a 20-12 lead after the first quarter. Through the last seven games, the Loggers have finished the first quarter with a lead or in a tie. Puget Sound has lost five of those seven games.
The Loggers struggled to shoot from distance against Lewis & Clark (1-12, 1-5 NWC), connecting on just three of 22 attempts from beyond the arc. The Pioneers went 10-for-20 from 3-point range.
Puget Sound continues its road stretch at George Fox Friday, Jan. 24, for a 6 p.m. tipoff.
