Box Score FOREST GROVE, Oregon – The Puget Sound men's basketball team cleared the century mark for the first time this season as the Loggers rolled past Pacific, 105-77, Saturday night.
Stellan Roberts led all players in scoring with 24 points, and he added seven rebounds, five assists, and three steals. Freshman Grant Erickson finished with 19 points and eight rebounds, both of which are his season-highs.
Jourdan Joseph shot 11-for-12 from the free-throw line on his way to 17 points, and John Misel scored 12 points for the Loggers (10-11, 4-8 NWC).
Pacific (6-15, 3-9 NWC) raced out to a 7-0 lead to start the game, but the Loggers weathered the early storm. Puget Sound closed out the first half with an 11-2 run to take a 50-41 lead into halftime.
Puget Sound shot 30-for-37 from the free-throw line. Both the makes and attempts are season-highs for the Loggers. Puget Sound's 54.1 field-goal percentage marks the third time in the past five games that the Loggers have shot over 50-percent.
The Loggers are in Parkland, Washington Tuesday, Feb. 11, to take on Pacific Lutheran at 8 p.m.
