TACOMA, Washington – The Puget Sound women's soccer team exploded for three goals to take down Lewis & Clark, 3-0, in Baker Stadium Sunday afternoon. It was the Loggers' second largest margin of victory this season.
Kylee Roath got the scoring going in the 17
th minute for the Loggers (11-0-1, 7-0-1 NWC) when she headed in her fifth goal of the season off a pass from
Misha Tasaka.

th minute,Â
Genny Jilka positioned herself to receive a through-ball from
Rylee MacLennan. Jilka then buried her fifth goal of the season into the bottom-left corner to give Puget Sound a 2-0 lead heading into the half.The scoring didn't stop there.
Shortly after the second half began,
Ava Cholakian dribbled down the right side of the pitch and crossed a ball to the back post that was headed in by
Radhika Webster Schultz. It was Webster Shultz's fifth goal of the season, and Cholakian's fourth assist.
Chaylea Tome held the Pioneers (7-4-1, 5-3-0 NWC) in check before handing the goalkeeping duties over to
Megan Schellhase in the 67
th minute. Schellhase came up with three big saves to preserve the team shutout.
Puget Sound will be on the road next Saturday, Oct. 16, when it takes on Whitman (0-10-1, 0-8-0 NWC) at 12 p.m.
