SALEM, Oregon – The Puget Sound men's soccer team fell to Willamette, 2-0, on the road Saturday afternoon.
The Loggers held the Bearcats in check for the first 60 minutes of the game before conceding a goal in the 61
st minute. Willamette went on to add another goal in the 89
th minute giving the Bearcats the 2-0 victory.
Puget Sound was able to record seven shots and three corner kicks, but the Loggers were unable to find the back of the net.
The Loggers (3-5-1, 2-2-1 NWC) will look to bounce back Sunday, Oct. 3, as they take on Linfield (1-8, 0-5 NWC) at 2:30 p.m.
