The top team in the West brings its unbeaten record back home this weekend

TACOMA, Washington – The No. 21/19 Puget Sound women's soccer team returns home with its unbeaten record to take on George Fox (Oct. 23) and Pacific (Oct. 24) this weekend. Both matches start at 12 p.m. in Baker Stadium.

In the ranks
The Loggers (13-0-1, 9-0-1 NWC) are ranked No. 21 in the nation by United Soccer Coaches, and No. 19 by D3soccer.com. More importantly, Puget Sound is ranked No. 1 in the West Region by NCAA D-III.
 
Logger trio
Kylee Roath (6), Genny Jilka (5), and Radhika Webster Schultz (5) are the highest scoring trio in the Northwest Conference. Roath reclaimed the team lead in scoring by netting the game-winning goal at Whitworth (Oct. 17). 
 
It just keeps on coming
Chaylea Tome was named the Northwest Conference Student-Athlete of the Week for defense for the second consecutive week and third time overall this season. On the season, Tome has recorded 11 shutouts to go along with 41 saves and a 95.3 save-percentage.
 
Breaking through
Sophomore Mimi Carrier-Berndt and freshman Emily O'Neil recorded their first-career goals last weekend. Carrier-Berndt netted the game-winner in a 1-0 win at Whitman (Oct. 16), with O'Neil assisting on the score. The following day, O'Neil netted her first goal at Whitworth. 
 
George Fox (9-4-1, 7-2-1 NWC)
The Bruins come into the weekend having won three-straight games against Willamette, Lewis & Clark, and Pacific. George Fox has 11 different scorers on the season, led by Taylor Ho and Maggie Phillips, each with five. The Loggers and Bruins last met on Sept. 2, when Kylee Roath netting the game-inning goal in the 75th minute en route to a 2-1 victory,
 
Pacific (5-7-1, 3-6-1 NWC)
The Boxers are coming off a win against Willamette last Sunday, 1-0. Pacific has scored nine goals on the season, four of which have come from Tessa Bretschieder. The Loggers and Boxers last met on Sept. 26, when Kiana Serraow scored the golden goal three minutes into overtime for a 1-0 victory.
