Washington to rush more
Senior running back
Silas Washington was named the Logger of the Week following Puget Sound's game at Lewis & Clark (Oct. 23). He ran for 229 on 45 carries, and scored twice. Washington became the first Logger since 2008 to have 200+ rushing yards in a game. He is also the first Logger since 2008 to have at least nine rushing touchdowns in a season.
Kavin Williams is the last Logger to achieve both of those feats. Washington's 45 carries against the Pioneers were two shy of matching Daryl Wright's single-game program record set in 1991.
