Silas Washington both reached the end zone, but the Puget Sound football team lost to Whitworth, 68-14, in Baker Stadium Saturday afternoon.

Knight's first touchdown of the season was a 30-yard catch from
Murdock Rutledge midway through the first quarter. The score cut Puget Sound's deficit to 14-7.

The Pirates scored 31 unanswered points until Washington punched in a two-yard score late in third quarter. Washington became the first Logger to have 10 or more rushing touchdowns in a season since Silas Paul had 12 in the 2007 season. Washington ran for 179 on 25 carries. He has 910 rushing yards this season.

Langston Aron and
Zerek Waters each recovered a fumble, and
Hayden McPherson recorded a sack.
